Since our founding in 2019, INTEGRITY House has been committed to growing in a positive direction. We’re very proud of the diversity of our staff, and their abilities to contribute their own unique experience and skills to our success. Find out more about some of our team members below.
Kawana Magee created Integrity House with the vision and drive to design a safe haven for youth struggling with the challenges of coming of age. She focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity as she knows first hand the importance of having consistent guidance and a firm foundation.
She was brought up in a single family home and feelings of rejection, abandonment, and confusion caused her to wrestle with what she knew were right choices and what her teenage self wanted to do. Growing up is tough and it requires the guidance of those who have survived coming of age. In 2019, her struggles, challenges, and eventual successes birthed the vision for INTEGRITY House (New Orleans, LA) as a community and family resource.
David Armour was added to the team at Integrity House to spearhead and facilitate family counseling, and life coaching. He has a heart for the physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual success of local families. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counseling, obtained from Hope International University in Fullerton California.
David was born and bred in New Orleans but relocated to Texas after Hurricane Katrina. His heart always remained with his home town and eventually he moved back to be closer to family. Becoming immersed in the founding of INTEGRITY House was a “no brainer” for David. His love for families and for people align with the vision and purpose of INTEGRITY House. He is committed to impacting the community and the city in a major way!
